Digital Cinema Media

Digital Cinema Media is the market leader in UK cinema advertising, providing content to over 2,300 screens and over 420 sites for advertisers.

DCM hold around a 65% share of the UK cinema advertising market through our exhibitor clients Odeon, Cineworld, Empire, Picturehouse, IMAX, and many Independents.
The UK market is currently undergoing a major transition from analogue presentation to D-cinema and DCM has selected Unique's Advertising Accord back office software to handle their distribution and scheduling for both analogue and digital advertising.

Director of Technology at DCM, Mark Stephen, says “We are delighted to be working with Unique on this initiative. The team at Unique have been able to recognise the complexity that a transitioning market presents to the screen advertising contractor. The development of the Accord system is putting DCM at the forefront of digital content delivery while providing a platform on which to support our existing 35mm estate”.

Alcons new top-of-the-line product for cinema audio, the Alcons CR5, is designed to offer line-array like features in a classic cinema speaker package.
